For its light weight, goatskin is incredibly durable and tough kind of glove. Laboratory tests were conducted subjecting various leathers to an equal number of abrasive wear cycles, followed by testing for tear strength.

Goatskin came out on top with the highest tensile strength. These gloves are so thin and pliable, they really do fit like a second skin. This makes our supple goatskin leather an excellent choice for TIG welding gloves.
