Genfarm SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Detection Kit is used for an easy detection of Covid 19 at home. The kit can be used with either nasal or saliva samples. The test result should be ready within 15 minutes

For Nasal Swab-Sampling

1. Peel to open the package of the sampling swab. Do not touch the swab tip.
2. Gently insert the swab tip 2-3cm into one nasal cavity. Gently rotate the swab 5 rounds for 20 seconds to collect secretions from the nose. Do not force the swab, so as not to injure the nose.
3. Repeat the same steps in the other nostril.
4. Unscrew the extraction tube. Insert the swab into an extraction buffer tube. While squeezing the buffer tube, stir the swab more then 10s.
5. Remove the swab while squeezing the sides of the tube to extract the liquid from the swab.
6. Screw the dripper onto the tube Press the nozzle cup tightly onto the tube.
7. Apply 2-3 drops of the extracted specimen to the specimen hole of the test card.
8. Read the results within 10-15 minutes.
9. Strong positive results can be reported within 10 minutes, however, negative results must be reported after 20 minutes, and we results after 30 minutes are no longer valid.
10. Discard all used materials into a biohazard bag and dispose properly.

For Saliva Sampling

1. Clear your throat and try to get a much alive from the back of the throat into the Saliva Collection Bag.
2. Use a dropper to draw the sample to about half the height of the dropper.
3. Unscrew the extraction tube. Add 5 drops of the sample in a sample extraction tube.
4. Screw the dripper onto the tube Press the nozzle cup tightly onto the tube.
5. Apply 2-3 drops of the extracted specimen to the specimen hole of the test card.
6. Read the results within 10-15 minutes.
7. Strong positive results can be reported within 10 minutes, however, negative results must be reported after 20 minutes, and we results after 30 minutes are no longer valid.
8. Discard all used materials into a biohazard bag and dispose properly.
